More Hepburns and a Special Photo Shoot
Lovely Ladies! We’ve some great news… the Hepburn Dresses are back in stock.
While the British weather has been mild and calm outside, there has been a storm of activity behind the scenes dealing with the deliveries both in and out of the office.
We’re delighted you have found the new Hepburn designs to your liking and pleased to announce that those who missed out have another chance to add one to their wardrobe.
As Ruth Ashton-Ward pointed out on Facebook: "Loved the blue Hepburn so much that bought this one as well last week! Fabulous dress and the new sizing is better (better smaller fit on the top half of dress!)."
So if you have bought from us before don’t forget to use the Size Calculator with every style, as our dress sizes have been altered.
A Very Special Photo Shoot
Earlier in the year Lady V teamed up with Breast Cancer Care and Home by Midnight (of Boggio Studios) to support the work they do and to show that women of all shapes and sizes and whatever they are going through, are gorgeous.
In October Breast Cancer Care put on a big fashion show where they use 24 models who are all cancer patients at varying stages of their treatment.
They select these 24 people from 1000s of entrants and they all come from different parts of the country as well as being different ages - there are also 2 men in the 24 models (as around 400 men also suffer from this illness).
To promote the event Breast Cancer Care asked fashion photographers ‘Home by Midnight’ to organise a photo shoot that would feature 16 of these models.
With the theme of a Vintage Tea Party they knew that the dresses had to come from Lady V.
It took quite a feat of organisation to get this to happen and over two days these lovely ladies were pampered to the max!
We were delighted to be involved and not only supplied the dresses but we also decided to gift the dresses to the models so that they could keep them as a memento of the day.
So many of the models got in touch to thank us, and according to Katy Thomson they were all delighted and she told us "...a lot of the dresses have been worn to weddings and the races on a few weekends already!"
As you can see below the effect is stunning.
The Fashion show is on Wednesday 1st October and takes place in London and Glasgow.
If you are going to the event make sure you visit Home by Midnight’s pop-up studio and get a photo of yourself and friends.
You can see all the behind the scenes action of the photo shoot and a great report of the session on the Home by Midnight website.
